World Championship 3-Cushion National Teams

The World Three-Cushion Team Championship in Viersen is one of the most famous and renowned billiards events in the world and it is impossible to imagine Germany without it. Since we have had the privilege of working for this event since 2010, wonderful photo treasures with priceless memories have accumulated in our archives - have fun clicking through.

WC 3-Cushion National Teams 2022 in Viersen/Germany

At the World 3-Cushion Team Championships in Viersen/Germany, Turkey successfully defended the title of 2019. They beat surprise finalists Colombia 2-0 in the final. The bronze medals went to Germany and Spain.

WC 3-Cushion National Teams 2019 in Viersen/Germany

The duo Murat Naci Coklu and Lütfi Cenet won the gold medal for Turkey. In the final they defeated the Netherlands with individual world champion Dick Jaspers and his partner Raimond Burgman with 40:22 points.

The South Korean duo Sung Won Choi and Dong Koong Kang successfully defended their title from last year at the Three-Cushion Team World Championships in Viersen. In the final against the surprise team from Austria, the Asians won with 40:30 points after 23 innings.

At the World Championships, which were held for the first time in the so-called Scotch Double mode, the South Korean duo secured the crown with a 40:34 final victory over Belgium. Germany narrowly missed out on a place in the semi-finals.

The Belgians’ years of dominance were broken. The Dutch duo Dick Jaspers and Jean van Erp secured the gold medal with an outstanding performance in the final against Turkey. Earlier, defending champions Belgium were defeated by the Turkish team in the semi-finals.
